Mama Africa remembered
Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Letta Mbulu and Thandiswa Mazwai share some of their fondest memories of the late Miriam Makeba.
sakhile
rest in peace mama africa. we will all remember you thruogh the effects you had in our lives musically and through the effort you made to change the lives and perception of women of africa. well mic you
Dr Nomfundo Mali
It is so great to believe that even if someone passes away, but you will still have contact with her through the trail of work she has done in South Africa and abroad. As an African belief that when someone passes on she becomes an ancestor, with more powers to bless, to guide and to protector those that are left behind. Hence the Bible kwiNdumiso 38:9 “Iminqweno yam yonke ndiyibeka phambi kwakho.”
Let’s moan but at the sametime celebrate the life of legend.
Thankyou
