Mobs of death: a retrospective
The townships that erupted with hatred and violence in the country in May 2008 seem to have cooled down now. Two months after mobs around the country went on the rampage targeting foreigners in attacks which left many people dead, scores injured and thousands homeless, photojournalist James Oatway reflects on his experience while covering the violence.

i blame the gov. only in sa will you not adentify a basic refugge policy. this was a bomb waiting to blow, its sad that poor people had to endure the frustration of angry SA. But list we forget that the gov. is mostly to blame, when are they going to solve this problem…remember a hungry stamach is an angry mind….fix this now…..
