Let’s raise the awareness and get Business/sponsors to realise squash is one the biggest sports in SA and that it can be played from 7-70+.

As a fellow squash player and mother of 2 top junior SA players, its nice to know that someone out there besides the players, coaches and clubs are trying to promote the sport. Excellent!

Great coverage on squash!! From a coach,s perspective the junior base looks pretty healthy in S.A. in all aspects of the game. Perseverence to build from this point on could result in some world class players. Thank you to SABC for promoting one of the healthiest games played. Nick c/o BTB SQUASH COACHING ACADEMY

Squash is a commonwealth sport & therefore should have local coverage & as much support as possible. Coverage can only help grow & develop the sport. Thanks to all those that support this cause!

Fabulous coverage for squash. Please continue to give squash the window it deserves. Looking forward to a higher profile should we receive Olympic status and the increased funding that will come with this.

It is great to see this kind of coverage for the youngsters and for squash. AS a fellow player and supporter I would always be interested in following this type of news on squash in the press.

Well done Craig vd Wath and well done Supersport and the Times!

Fantastic coverage – great way to keep the youngsters fit and healthy by playing one of the greatest games of all times – congrats to Robyn and Wade – thanks to The Times, all the sponsors and Craig. Squash will only go from strength to strength with this kind of media attention.

Asbsolutely fantastic – we need to have more coverage in the minor sports. There must be more people in SA playing squash than rugby or cricket and for a lot longer. Why should they be getting so much coverage and squash so little. Coverage encourages sponsorship not the other way round. Our juniors need support.

Excellent. This is great news. I support anything that supports the game I love. Please keep it up.

It is massively important to promote the game, and to inspire our juniors to become accomplished seniors, if South Africa is to become a top force to be reckoned with in the world squash arena. So a huge thanks to the sponsors, and a big up to Parkview for hosting the tourney, the facilities there are excellent and the courts are tip-top. The biggest thanks has to be to Craig. Anyone who knows him knows how much effort he puts into junior squash which is obviously where the future of squash lies. His dedication and discipline is an inspiration to us all.

It is just terrific to see the game being promoted – well done! It is a game where our country can be competitive internationally so this sort of support encourages all players to stay committed!

Awesome idea. Squash could do with some exposure and i’m sure most of the other players would dig the exposure as well. Great for sponcership oppotunities and etc…

Its time for kids to take up sport (squash) rather than TV/Computer games.
Lets get our youth back into shape and out of shopping malls.
