South African stand-up comedy has a new home – Parker’s Comedy & Jive – at Montecasino in Fourways. The venue, purpose-built to showcase the art of stand-up comedy, features the best in local and international comedians Wednesday-Saturday every week.
Tony King is an accomplished comedian and highly experienced in the international and local market. Tony also specialises in Elvis Presley impersonations, Frank Sinatra, Willie Nelson and others, with full costume and excellent backing tracks, singing all the songs live.
Brit John Mann has established a reputation for sharp observation and wry wit mingled effortlessly with a gentle and confident rapport. John’s gentle and honest delivery makes him one of the most enjoyable comedians on the London circuit today.
Etienne Shardlow is a computer geek by day, and by night. Etienne has been involved in the South African entertainment industry for the last two years as both a DJ of Township Jazz & Pop and stand-up comic.
